Volunteer at ZACH

***Thanks for your interest in volunteering your time at ZACH Theatre! We have currently reached our capacity and are not accepting any new volunteers for the 2012-13 Season. However, feel free to complete the application form below and we will keep it on file when recruitment begins again in Summer 2013.***

Join the dynamic and rewarding team of Volunteer Staff at ZACH! Volunteers are essential to ZACH’s success and serve as ushers, ticket scanners, Gift Shop clerks, greeters, administrative help, special projects and ambassadors of goodwill to our community. Come and learn how you can be a part of Austin’s Theatre and give back to the community, make new friends, and have the opportunity to attend outstanding professional theatre in our existing venues including our new beautiful Topfer Theatre.

All Volunteers are required to take two training sessions: Part 1 and Part 2. We currently do not have any future trainings scheduled.

In addition to training, we ask that each volunteer work a minimum of 6 events per season (September-August). Young people ages 13-17 are welcome to volunteer with a parent or guardian and 18-up can volunteer independently. The usual dress code for shows is professional looking all-black (please no denim or athletic shoes). Scheduling of events is quick and easy via our online database and we have plenty of opportunities to accommodate any schedule. Free parking is provided for all volunteers.
