ZACH's full-day Theatre Variety Camps are a great way for children, ages 5 to 13, to have a fun and active theatre arts experience this summer. Each week is based on a different fun, theme that explores theatre arts through acting, comedy and improvisation, theatre games, singing, dancing, movement, and more.
Campers create and rehearse a Final Showcase to perform for family and friends every Friday. This Summer’s lineup of themes include New Orleans festivities, mad scientists, Superhero Comedy, flying carpets, ZACH's 75th Birthday Bash and more!
- Students are divided by age and show group.
- Early Drop Off (8:30 am-8:45 am) – $15 a week
- Late Pick-Up (5:15 pm-5:30 pm) – $15 a week
- BOTH Early Drop-Off and Late Pick-Up – $25/week for both.
- Waiting Lists are available as age groups fill up. Call the Performing Arts School if you would like to be added in the event of a cancellation.

July 28-Aug 1 DOMO ARIGATO, MR ROBOTO (Comedy Improv) $250
This classic Japanese phrase inspires the characters and scenes about gadgets, gizmos, and more in this week of comedy and improvisation. Robot improv, human machines, Japanese anime, and The Robot Dance to the classic Styx tune are all part of this fun week of comedy! (Full for all ages.)
Aug 4-8 1001 ARABIAN NIGHTS (Full Narrative) $265
Come along on a magic carpet ride with Aladdin, Sinbad, Ali Baba, princesses, and others in these classic stories about genies, magicians, gold and jewels, palaces, magic lamps, and more! A full narrative play with script provided.

Aug 11-15 ROCKSTAR V (Musical Theatre Week) $250
Air guitarists meet mosh pits in this ever popular camp, back by popular demand for the 5th summer in a row! I love rock and roll, put another dime in the juke box, baby! Elvis, the Beatles, Hendrix, and more. Jam with us this week as we create stories and dances that will get you rockin'!

Aug 18-22 ZACH's BIG BIRTHDAY BASH! (Create A Play) $250
2008 is Zachary Scott Theatre's 75th birthday! Help us plan the biggest birthday celebration ever as we create stories inspired by ZACH's story in Austin. From Zachary Scott the actor to the theater itself, discover the story of how Austin's oldest theater came to be as we end the summer with one big birthday bash! (Full for Ages 5-6. Space available for Ages 7-13.)
