Project Discovery provides students and educators with subsidized tickets to our mainstage productions, and organizational support for hundreds of students (middle-school through college) who otherwise may never attend a theater event.

With Project Discovery, ZACH joins outstanding theater organizations around the country in an effort to bring a new generation of patrons to the theater and to offer youth a better understanding of the important and powerful role creative expression can have in their lives.

In summer of 2007, Austin's Sunshine Camp kids were treated to a preview performance of Disney's High School Musical at ZACH.

On January 24th, 2008 Project Discovery gave Ten LEAP students the opportunity to see ZACH’s version of The Gershwins' masterpiece, Porgy and Bess. The response was a resounding "thumbs up"! LEAP would like to thank the ZACH Theatre for the ticket contribution and support of the LEAP students.

"I liked the part when they used objects to create musical sounds." –Marcus, age 16 McNeil High School
