ZACH Education

ZACH's Education Department is dedicated to entertaining while educating youth of all ages. In our efforts to provide a rich theatre experience, our Performing Arts School offers an exciting and stimulating repertoire of programs and productions. With year-round theatre classes and camps, original shows especially for ages 3-7, touring productions for elementary and middle schools, and outreach to high school and college levels, ZACH is the leader in creative education in Austin.

SPRING & FALL CLASSES

ZACH's popular and award-winning Performing Arts School offers classes and special workshops in acting, comedy improvisation, musical theatre and voice. Including our unique Production Classes for Homeschoolers, over 2,000 children and teens will attend ZACH Performing Arts School this year.

CAMPS

In addition to our ongoing classes, ZACH’s popular camps are held during Spring and Winter Breaks and Summer Camps run weekly, June through August. Students can select from a varitey of the week-long sessions, each with a different fun theme, and all culminating in a show at the sessions end. In addition, week-long Summer Teen Intensives, are offered for youth 14-18 each focusing on a different skill.

FAMILY FRIENDLY SHOWS

ZACH Education produces shows year round for audiences of all ages. Playspace at ZACH is a series of interactive plays created for children ages 3-7 offered at the theatre on weekday mornings. Project Interact’s touring shows are available to perform in elementary and middle schools year round, and Project Discovery reaches out to high school and college students, bringing them to our mainstage productions at greatly reduced rates. ZACH also presents an annual Performing Arts School Musical featuring an all youth cast and is open to the public.
