About the Auditions
On Sunday, September 7, students will audition in groups of 20, with each audition slot lasting 1.5 hours. Students will be taught a short dance routine and a verse of “I've Got A Golden Ticket,” from Willy Wonka Jr. Everyone will be asked to dance with a small group and sing alone.
No preparation is required, though it would be helpful to be familiar with the lyrics and/or melody to "I've Got a Golden Ticket." (Please do not try to imitate Grandpa Joe's style from the original movie soundtrack. We'll be doing an up-tempo version for children's voices.)
Audition times: To sign up for a time, call ZACH’s Performing Arts School at 512-476-0594 x236 or email education@zachtheatre.org. Callbacks, if necessary, will be held on Monday, September 8 beginning at 4pm. You must fill out and return an audition form (link below).
