Shows for Youth
ZACH offers family-friendly shows on weekends during the school year. Performances are by professional theatre artists and/or Performing Arts School students in our Pre-Professional Program.
We also have engaging productions for school groups either for field trips to our stages or in schools through our touring program. Great options are available for Preschool through High School students, with TEKS aligned resources for teachers.

For Families and Youths Ages 5 and up
Talented Austin Kids ages 9 to 12 perform a fast-paced musical revue about the joy and angst of a typical day in the life of a kid, including exam jitters, social pointers, sibling rivalry and monsters in the closet! Shows for just three weekends. Last year's production of Willy Wonka played to sold out houses.

ZACH Showstoppers present Call it Courage in April 2010. About The Showstoppers, ZACH's pre-professional youth performance troupe, was founded in 2008 by Jaclyn Loewenstein, Adam Roberts and the late Lana Leeds with the aim of providing middle and high school students with intense preparation for a potential career in musical theatre. Students are auditioned annually and members receive weekly training in various aspects of musical theatre technique and learn fully-choreogaphed production numbers that are presented at major events throughout Austin. The 2009-10 Company was recently featured in A Texas Christmas Carol at the Long Center, December 29-January 3.
