Hello Educators! We are so excited for you to be a part of our school shows for next year. On Wednesday August 21 at 5:30 p.m. we will have a preview party for teachers where you can see scenes from all of our plays next year. Click here to sign up.
ZACH's Theatre for Youth series provides field trip opportunities for students to experience live theatre with educational content. Plays incorporate TEKS aligned subjects and offer Instructional Study Guides for teachers and students.

Grades 2nd and up (Great for upper elementary and middle school)
This bilingual play celebrates the bonds of family and friendship. Salt is a boy whose family has a secret—his grandfather cannot read or write. When Salt befriends Pepper, her love of books sparks his interest in the world of words. They discover a mysterious box of postcards that reveal the truth about Salt's family that leads to a brighter future.

Holiday Heroes
November 11-December 13, 2013

For Grades Pre-K and up
Now in its 14th year due to popular demand! In this hilariously fun holiday sing-along students get into the holiday spirit with Ernie and Rufus. The stage is set for big holiday display when too much fun causes a raucous mix up of Christmas, Hanukah and Kwanzaa. Celebrate the season with singing, laughter and holiday cheer for all.

Sciencetricks!

Sciencetricks! delightfully uses circus skills and physical comedy to teach about different kinds of energy including potential, mechanical, heat, electricity, and sound! The award-winning clown duo, Schave & Reilly, put on their professor hats and will make science fun for students of all ages!

Dr. Seuss’s classic children’s book comes to life in a wild ride of physical comedy. Sally and her brother are stuck home in the rain, when a Cat comes knocking at the window pane! With mischief and mayhem and laughter galore, bring your students and we know they’ll be shouting for more! This critically acclaimed adaptation was originally produced at the National Theatre of Great Britain.

Pinocchio
April 18-May 23, 2014

Step in Geppetto’s workshop in this imaginative retelling of an ageless classic! With puppetry, shadow and illusion, a simple carpenter transforms his workshop into a fantastic quest of a puppet trying to be a real boy. But will the all-too-tempting delights of the outside world be too much for Pinocchio? When Geppetto is swallowed by a whale, it is up to this little puppet to show his courage in this story of love, family, and adventure.

NOTES FOR TEACHERS:
- After you make your reservation, you will receive a confirmation notice within three days. Payment in full is due one month before your visit. If find you need an extension on your payment due date, please call 512-476-0594 x 236, and we will help set a new payment due date.
- For every ten student tickets purchased, you will receive 1 free adult ticket. Both teachers and parents should be included in the number of adult tickets reserved. Parents cannot purchase individual tickets with the theatre, as all reservations must be done through the school.
- Reservation numbers may be increased at anytime, if space allows. However, any decreases to your reservation must be made one month prior to visit. After this time all reserved seats must be paid for regardless of day-of attendance.
- Cancellations must be given in writing at least 4 weeks prior to reservation. No refund for payment will be given if inadequate notice is given.
- ZACH Theatre is located right next to Zilker park and has a small park and baseball field on site. Please feel free to utilize these areas for a picnic lunch or recreation area.
- Remember to reserve your buses early!
